On Tuesday, 9th June 2020, researcher Miha Zimšek and head of quality at Association HVC Alicia-Leonor Sauli-Miklavčič hosted Saša Grašič and Simona Črep as part of the international project VET21001. Saša Grašič is in charge of quality at the Slovenian Institute for vocational education and training, head of the national reference point for the quality of vocational education and a member of the European network for the quality of vocational education and training (EQAVET). Simona Črep is the principal of the Secondary School of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Media at the School Center Celje and has the role of an implementer in the EQAVET adaptation process.
Members of the Association HVC prepared a comprehensive report and its summary entitled “Gap Analysis on EQAVET Adoption”. The report addresses the most important problems that users encounter when trying to understand, implement and evaluate the EQAVET programme in educational organizations. Summary of the report was reviewed and debated by the meeting participants and an updated version was prepared based on the comments from the experts. The updated version is vertically aligned with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
