Across 28 locations throughout Slovenia, 49 public and private colleges deliver more than 30 different study programmes. These programmes are modular in design and carry 120 ECTS credits.

The key advantage of professional higher vocational education lies in the fact that students acquire practical, career-oriented knowledge in just two years. This is made possible through apprenticeship in companies, where students benefit from direct contact with employers and highly experienced mentors. For more than 20 years, the guiding principle of higher vocational education in Slovenia has been the quality of education, as demonstrated by the achievements of graduates both in Slovenia and internationally. Modern study programmes are continuously adapted to the needs of learners of all generations and offer personalised upskilling and reskilling opportunities for young people, employed professionals, and anyone seeking new career opportunities and aiming higher.
