ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission has developed the SELFIE (Self-reflection on Effective Learning by Fostering the use of Innovative Educational Technologies) tool, based on the European Commission’s Framework for the Promotion of Digital Learning in Educational Organisations. The SELFIE tool has also been enhanced to meet the specific needs of VET that provide practical training through work and practical education, involving companies directly in the learning process – SELFIE WBL. SELFIE WBL has been developed to meet the specific needs of vocational and technical schools that provide practical training through work and practical education, thus involving enterprises in the direct learning process.

The VET community participated in the SELFIE WBL pilot project and the partners of the pilot project have decided to continue their work under the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships. Over the next 3 years, we will support our VET pilot schools in France, Germany, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia to pave the way for digital transformation using the SELFIE WBL tool.
